Starting Time
Here's how I think we'll line up on Monday...
McBride
Donovan
Convey Reyna DMB
Pablo
Lewis Gooch Pope 'Dolo

I think Bruce will trot out this lineup, his safest choice, because he doesn't need to resort to any surprises to play with the Czechs. I think, and have thought for a while, that Convey must play major minutes. He's earned it. And I also like EJ coming off the bench in the 2nd half. Both EJ and Dempsey provide strong subs if a mf or forward is tiring.
What I think this means is that O'Brien is the odd man out, for the first game at least. The third sub would likely be a defensive mf such as Olsen or our only other target forward, Ching.
As far as my travel preparations are going, oh forget it, you don't want to read about that. You might want to read about some of George and my travails once we get to Germany, but there's nothing more tedious than reading about a blogger and his adventures in packing. Suffice to say, the iPod will be loaded and slumber will not be difficult for me Sunday night. I'll need all the rest I can get for the huge celebration Monday night!!! (Bostrom)
